I thought pictures of me in the Farmhouse was the perfect idea for my new blog header.
The Farmhouse helps fulfill my passion for food. I love working in the kitchen and meeting so many of you who come to visit.
Welcome to Serenbe Style and Soul, my blog for sharing my passion for cooking, styling, Serenbe, and all things that inspire me. Please feel free to email me as I welcome your suggestions and would love to know what you enjoy reading about.Send email to Marie
Always have a bottle of tabasco nearby. My staff kids me, "Oh, here comes Marie with her tabasco."When I taste food for seasoning I often use tabasco to enhance the flavor. One dash can do wonders for many dishes, especially cheese sauces.
"Some of the best food you can eat outside Italy is in Marie's kitchen."Check out Serenbe on Facebook by clicking here!
I am currently a teacher in one of Cobb County's elementary schools - but am ALSO recently divorced with two sweet little girls. I have stayed at Serenbe a few times, years ago and always loved it there! I was wondering if you happen to be hiring in any area around Serenbe and if so, how would I go about applying?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!

I am so glad you have enjoyed Serenbe. Currently we are not hiring in or around the Inn. I do hope you and your girls are able to visit again soon.

Hi Marie, I am an ER nurse working in Newnan and live in Chattahoochee Hills. We have enjoyed dining at the Farmhouse and look forward to future visits. I've been thinking for a while, I would love to see (or help with) some seminars on basics of canning. I feel like this is somewhat of a lost art that needs to be re-born! In years past, we would go to the cannery at the Farmer's Market, which unfortunately closed. But, we still can each summer, the old-fashioned "Ball" jar way :)and enjoy healthier, preservative free food! In reading about "The Hil", I see she cans a good bit of the food served there. It might be a fun project with summer coming up :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I found your site through a dear friend of mine that now lives in Georgia. I am from Colorado and am sure to come enjoy your dining when we return for a visit again. Hopefully that will be sooner than later.
